The Other Side was a collaborative community event that started on the 7th of July 2023.
The aim of The Other Side was to provide a casual space for a creative and youthful crowd to get together and socialize. The closing of Spacebar during the summer months took away the only space the more alternative creative community typically gathered. Seeing the summer as the prime time for meeting-up, making friends, and sharing creativity, a small group launched The Other Side on the other side of the breeding-ground and Spacebar.
“We don’t want the community to be homeless. Not forever, but also especially not this beautiful summer. Therefore every Saturday you’re welcome to join the Other Side! We open our outdoor back-area, so we can still get together, make music, make art, and inspire!”
The Other Side was open every Saturday from 15:00 – 23:00 and hosted a line-up of local DJ’s curated by Ishaan.
